Lithia Springs

When daddy went off to work the boys and I went out to play! They can only sit in the house for so long with out all of us going crazy!!! We went down to the spring. Abram had been there once when he was itty bitty so he didn't remember. I wasn't sure if they were going to like it because the water is really cold but they had so much fun! And I enjoyed the sun. Eli had his toes nibbled on by a fish and thought it was awesome! That is definitely something we will do often.

Fathers day

For our first weekend in our new town we went exploring, Aaron grew up in this area and knows it pretty well. He took us to a state park that he use to go to all the time when he was a young boy. It was fun to watch him tell the boys stories of his past. This park in unlike anything I had ever seen. It use to be a mine so the hills are huge. I am use to flat land in Florida so this was a great spot to find!!! I am excited to have the boys grow up here!

First day in the new place...

We woke up in our new house this morning! I have a lot of unpacking to do. We decided to toss our couches out so we didn't have to move them. With two young boys and white couches you can imagine what they looked like, even after scrubbing and trying my hardest to keep them clean.
So for now camping chairs it is! We have a lot more space here and the boys are excited about the stairs. I have a feeling they will soon rethink that!

The move to Valrico

Yesterday we packed up the U-haul and today we move to Valrico! I said all of my goodbyes yesterday because I didn't want to cry today. I've lived in Naples my whole life. My parents have always been a constant for me. My mom has always been right down the road. I know we didn't move to the other side of the earth but two hours is a big difference from fifteen minutes. I'm excited and nervous all rolled in to one. I know this new phase will be the best for us. My husband worked his tail off the past two years to provide for us and I couldn't let his hard work not pay off. I am going to lean on God to give me strength and guidance.

Our first day of summer

It's super rainy today, and we had to drive to daddy's school to get his college certificate! We are beyond proud of all his hard work hes done for us for the past two years.

Then we played at the pebble park for a little while before the down poor.

We popped into publix to get some lunch and stuff for dinners and rented Inside Out to watch since it should be rainy for the rest of the day. Easy lazy day! Just the way I like it.

I am praying we here back from the townhouse HOA soon so we can get this move over with so we can get settled in and be a family again. Being apart is hard.

Summer 2016 begins!

Today we said goodbye to Big Cypress Elem. It gave Abram a great start to his school career. He has excelled way higher then a mother could pray for. First grade was fun and exciting thanks to his amazing teacher Mrs. Humphery. He was in high math and was the highest reader in his class! I am beyond proud of him and look forward to what he accomplishes next year and the years to come. August we start a new school!!

Dresser makeover

I am kinda known to be cheap. I hate spending money on certain things, so when we knew we were going to move and the boys dressers looked like they took a bat to them I couldn't stand the thought of tossing out dressers that were made right here in the good ol' USA and are solid wood. So I gave them a face lift with chalk paint and I think they turned out great! I even kept the original hardware that went well with the colors I chose. So now they have two 'new' fresh dressers that only cost me the price of the paint!! I already had the green for a different project and the paint for the drawers cost $10.00!

Welcome

Hey ya'll,

Thanks so much for stopping by! I am now a stay at home mom after four and a half years of working at a hospital. My boys are 5 and 7 and we have the whole summer ahead of us to see what we can get into! We love Jesus, and our daddy. The sun makes us happy and laughing is something we do often.

I am a creative person so if I sit still for to long I tend to go crazy. If I have an old ugly piece of furniture you can believe I will paint it and make it like new.

We are relocating to a totally new town in a totally new county. I have been here in Naples my whole life! My family is here but God opened a door for us and we had to follow. So my boys and I (husband is always included as one of my boys) are starting a new adventure this summer. A new house, a new town and new life! And I am going to document it! I am also a self proclaimed photographer so I will often have photos to go with my posts!!

So if you have a moment please stop by and see how to live "The Ceto Way"!
